Bette (Jennifer Beals), the curator of an art museum, has to manipulate everyone around her and cheats on her long-term partner Tina (Laurel Holloman), who soon had to learn that the single life isn't what she expected. While one woman is fighting to overcome her addiction to alcohol, another ignores the many broken hearts she has left behind, and her heterosexual roommate Mark (Eric Lively), an up-and-coming filmmaker, points his cameras on the unsuspecting women, thereby learning what life in the lesbian world is like.
