Description

Smoke:
In the tradition of The Big Chill, a terrific all-star cast brings to life a story that's unpredictably fun and unforgettably entertaining. A group of colourful characters with nothing in common outside of a New York cigar shop and its manager, Auggie (Harvey Keitel - Pulp Fiction), find their lives inexplicably intertwined. Among them is a novelist (William Hurt - The Doctor) with a crippling case of writer's block, a one-armed man (Forest Whitaker - Species) running from his past and Auggie's long-lost ex-girlfriend (Stockard Channing - TV's The West Wing), who unexpectedly returns with some shocking news. Another critically acclaimed hit from hot filmmaker Wayne Wang (The Joy Luck Club) - sparks fly as these complete strangers strike up the most unlikely relationships... and end up learning each others' deepest secrets.

Blue In The Face:
In the even funnier follow-up to the hit comedy Smoke, Harvey Keitel (Pulp Fiction) returns with an even hotter all-star cast that includes Michael J. Fox (The American President) and Roseanne (She Devil). In a series of fun improvisational skits, an eccentric group of regulars and wacky local characters all pass through a New York City smoke shop for a little tobacco... and plenty of hilarious conversation with the shop's manager, Auggie (Keitel). But when this venerable neighbourhood institution threatens to close its doors for good, the comedy heats up until the smoke clears, the shop is saved, and everyone joins in for a blow-out celebration. By then you'll be ready to join the critics and audiences everywhere who have praised this highly original and entertaining comedy.
