Description

Its New Year's Eve on the Poseidon - a state of the art cruise liner on its way to New York - as partying voyagers lift their glasses and toast the future, little do they realise their predicament. Rapidly approaching is a 150-foot rogue wave that when it strikes, Poseidon is turned upside down.

Director Wolfgang Petersen returns to the sea with a thrill-packed, edge of your seat action feature. Josh Lucas, Kurt Russell, Richard Dreyfuss and Emmy Rossum are among the group of survivors that are determined to try to fight their way to the surface through the disorienting upside-down maze of twisted steel.
